I know that a few of you have seen this movie, I searched for a thread about it but could find none.

I find it interesting that it was directed by Kim Ki-duk who is Korean. I just assumed that it was chinese or Japanese but this just shows how unknowledgeable I am in regards to such things.

Do not watch this if you are sleepy however, as it is a rather quiet movie, with a good buddhist bent. Powerful camerawork, with simple peaceful scenes. Not much dialog, but what is said has worth. More worth is found watching the scenes as they play themselves out. Watching them as they make mistakes and how they deal with what they sowed.

I really enjoyed it.

I cannot seem to get studying again. It is like I am distracted and cannot find a source of drive. I still have to do the other half of the garage floor and a few other home improvement items before winter hits. I just cannot find the drive to get motivated.

I can’t really mountain bike anymore since it is fall now in Alaska and that equals rainy season. So out of every 14 days, 10 will be rainy which means no trail riding for myself. I could bike in town on pavement but I hate the traffic and noise when I am riding. Detracts from the experience I reckon.

I am posied to finally pay off the credit card debt I have accrued over the past few years. It is not an unholy sum of debt, but it is not something I am proud of. My dad would stab me, I know it. I have been trying to cut back any of my non-essential expenditures to save some cash. I have been doing pretty good, but I could have done better. (I bought a new computer, vid card and lcd recently. It has been due for awhile. Around two years IIRC) Once the debt is gone, I will feel a lot better. It will then be onto accruing a 4 month supply of cash for emergencies. 14k is around the total for the four months if I include everything I spend normally, but could be cut down to around 10k for the bare essientals. We DO eat out alot…

Once I get my debt paid off, I think it will be time for a little workover in the clothing depatment. I have no idea as to what, but I doubt that my current clothing will weather well in regards to time.
