WOOHOO! I passed!

I passed the Cisco CCNP Switching exam! I got an 825 out of a thousand, passing was 755. I feel freaking great!

And here we have a look at Quorn.

Here is the front of the box, too bad they do not mention tasteless:

And here we have the nutrition facts. They are around 1/8 protein, 1/8 fat, and 1/4 carbs. I assume the rest is water (I Hope!):

Here they are out of the box ready to be microwaved:

And they are after they were microwaved for one minute, 20 seconds. Behold the difference! I wonder if using the oven would have made a difference:

And now for a pic of the texture:

Well after eating four of them, I give them a 7. Quorn itself appears to be tasteless as all I could taste was breading. I did try some with some hot sauce, and it just turned it into spicy blandness. The texture was much like a Chicken Nugget from McDs, except that it was slightly more spongy. I have not noticed any adverse effects as of yet so I think I should be ok in that department. Wink

Overall, I do not think I will try the chicken variant of quorn again. Just too bland for my taste. I do love the geek factor and general effciency of the food however (Compared to beef).

Well damn it has been awhile.

Key points:

  • I turned 26 on the 31st
  • The gf turned 22 on the 30th
  • Flew down to Vancouver, Washington to help my best friend move back home to Alaska. We drove a 17ft UHaul (with trailer and a trunk on it) up the Alcan, with the girls in a Nissan Sentra. Lucky them.
  • I have my CCNP switching exam scheduled for the 21st @ 2PM
  • I recently bought the gf a new mountian bike for the summer. It is a Specialized FSRxc Woman’s bike.
  • Been trying to take care of my mother and watch her finances.
  • Saving up cash for the emergency fund. (For those OH CRAP moments)
  • Been playing EVE:Online still, but just not enough time since I have been studying.
  • Playing more DDR, for which I am actually going to buy some new Blueshark dance pads off ebay
  • Also been playing Battlefield 2, although not as much lately.

So yeah I have been busy, way to many books to read at any given time. Most of them are books to help improve my understanding of various subjects. Relationships, investing, how to communicate better in teams (for the job), all pretty boring stuff.
